Hit the Cross bar
Equipment needed: 1 Goal

With your friends start on the penalty spot. Take it in turns to strike your ball and try and hit the cross bar on the goal. When you have hit the bar from the penalty spot, move back 10 steps and try again. Every time you hit the bar move back 10 steps. See how far back you can go.

Soccer Tennis

This game can be played 1v1 or in teams. The size of the court and the height of the net can be determined by how many people are playing and how good your ball skills are.

Rules of the game

· Players can use any part of the body apart from hands
· Game starts with a serve from one player/team to the other, ball must land inside the boundaries of the court
· Ball can only bounce twice
· Points are scored if the ball bounces more than twice, the other player fails to return the ball back to the other side or kicks the ball out of the boundaries of the court

Wembley Knock Out
Equipment needed: A goal/something on the ground that makes a goal e.g. 2 sweaters.

This is a simple game that can be played with friends. You need 1 Goal Keeper and the rest of the players stand in the out field. The outfield players compete against each other trying to score a goal to progress to the next round. The goal keeper plays the ball in and the players attempt to shoot the ball into the goal. If the goal keeper saves it he/she must then distribute the ball into space. If the player scores, they leave the field and wait until the next round. This continues until one player is left, they are eliminated. The remaining players return to the field and repeat. This is repeated until there is a champion.

Soccer Squash
Equipment needed: A wall

Use some chalk to mark the boundaries of the wall you are playing in. 2 or more players stand facing a wall. 1st player starts by kicking the ball against the wall. The players take it in turns to kick the ball against the wall. Points are scored if the player kick the ball outside of the boundaries or fails to kick the ball against the wall.

Headers and Volleys
Equipment needed: A goal something on the ground that makes a goal e.g. 2 sweaters.

This is a simple game that can be played with friends. You need 1 Goal Keeper and the rest of the players stand in the out field. Players pass the ball around and move the ball into a wide position. The player crosses the ball and players in the area must finish with either a header or a volley. If the player scores they become the goal keeper. The first player to score 10 goals is the winner.

Me against You
Equipment needed: A goal/something on the ground that makes a goal e.g. 2 sweaters.

This is a simple game that can be played with friends. You simply both have a goal and you have to take your friend on and score in his/her goal. After a goal is scored you have to retreat to you own half of the field so that your friend can dribble at you. First player to 10 goals wins.

3 and In
Equipment needed: A goal/something on the ground that makes a goal e.g. 2 sweaters.

This is a simple game that can be played with friends. You need 1 Goal Keeper and the rest of the players stand in the out field. A marker is set in front of the goal and players must shoot behind the marker. Players in the outfield pass the ball around and shoot. You must shoot with one touch to score. The first player to score 3 goes in goals.

Keep ups
Stand in a small circle with your friends. You must try to keep the ball off the floor as long as possible. See how long you can do it. It’s always good to impress your friends with a new juggling trick you’ve learned.
