Saline Area Soccer Association

The Saline Area Soccer Association (SASA) Mini Kicker Program is a very popular introductory soccer program for three and four year olds.  The SASA Director of Coach and Player Development, Andy Brookfield, runs the program with the assistance of licensed professional trainers.

Mini Kickers focuses on the development of basic motor skills and body mechanics.  Your child will have a fantastic time working with our trainers who will deliver fun, energetic and enthusiastic sessions leaving your child wanting to come back each week.

The sessions involve a number of fun games and activities, finishing with small-sided scrimmages. The fun games and activities develop fundamental, soccer specific skills such as dribbling, passing and shooting.  The program has been very successful in sparking an interest in soccer. Many of our young players continue to play soccer in our recreational and travel programs.

A fall and spring season are offered outdoors on Saturday mornings at the SASA Community Drive fields. Click here for a map of the park to see the Mini Kicker location.  Our spring season will begin on Saturday, April 14th and end June 9th (eight sessions) and meets 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. Mini Kickers do not have weeknight practices. (If your player will be in Young 5’s or Kindergarten, we recommend that you register for SASA’s U6 Coed recreational league program.)

Participants need to be age 3 on or before 4/15/2012 to register for the 2012 Spring season.

Registration fees are $85 per player when you register online.
