Registration for the Spring 2008 season has been closed. Please check back in June for information on how to register for our Fall 2008 season.
The preferred, and least costly, method for registration is to register ONLINE through the SASA website. There is a processing and transaction fee charged to you and paid to the online registration provider (Active.com); however, the total amount you pay will be the same or less than if you choose to register offline. Please help us by registering online and in advance of the January 31 deadline. Online registration helps our SASA volunteers by significantly reducing their workload, and we appreciate our SASA families who assist us by registering online and early.
To be eligible for the Family Plan Discount online, please note that all of your family players (Rec and Travel) must be registered online during the same transaction – the online system will automatically calculate your family plan discounted total. The Family Plan Discount expires January 31; any registrations received/postmarked after that date will NOT receive the discount.
The registration deadline is January 31 – please help us by not waiting until the last minute to register! Once you have registered online, return here and print out the Recreational Player Parent Handbook and Rec Player Medical Emergency Contact form. Keep both documents – please read and make sure you understand the handbook and keep it for your use and reference during the season. Complete the medical release form and turn it in to your coach at the first practice.

If you prefer to register offline, print out an offline recreational player registration form and mail it with your check made payable to SASA to P.O. Box 21, Saline, MI 48176. The deadline is January 31. A hefty late fee goes into effect on February 1 and registrations postmarked after February 14 will be waitlisted. Once you have printed out your offline registration form, return here and print out the Recreational Player Parent Handbook and Rec Player Medical Emergency Contact form. Keep both documents – please read and make sure you understand the handbook and keep it for your use and reference during the season. Complete the medical release form and turn it in to your coach at the first practice.
ATTENTION NEW RESIDENTS TO SALINE:
If you are a new resident to Saline and have missed the January 31 deadline, please call the SASA Registrar at 944-5021 before you register.
Uniforms/Equipment:
Reversible SASA jerseys can be purchased at the Saline Sports Shack, 435 E. Michigan Ave. Players are also required to wear shin guards and soccer socks that completely cover the shin guards. Soccer shoes (no baseball cleats) are recommended but not required. Each child should also have his/her own soccer ball. #3 size ball is used for ages under 8 (U6 and U8 Divisions), #4 for ages 8 - 12 (U10 and U12 Divisions), and a #5 for ages 13 and up.
