Fundraiser in honor of Natalie Cameron

1 in 3 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.  Unfortunately, Natalie Cameron was one of them.  Natalie, the wife of Knox, Saline FC’s former DOC, and mother of Drew, lost her battle with cancer on June 4, 2021 at the age of 31.

Natalie was an elementary teacher in Saline before transferring to teach in Ann Arbor.  She was committed to advocating for tolerance and changing biases to make the world a better place for her son.

In honor of Natalie, Saline FC is selling seedlings of various species of trees and shrubs for your purchase as a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society, an organization in which Natalie and Knox were heavily involved and one of which she held near and dear to her heart.  All proceeds will benefit this organization’s cancer research, education, advocacy and patient family services.

Plant a tree or shrub in her remembrance and as a symbol of new life and growth. Purchasing a tree or shrub is not necessary if you wish to simply donate.  Use the same link.

This began as our Board wished to fundraiser for Knox and his son after such a devastating loss.  Knox felt his wife would be better served through funding a society that may some day assist in finding a cure.
