Leigh hails from Heatherside, England. He currently holds a National C Coaching License and a FA Level 2 coaching license. Prior to arriving at Saline FC in 2013, Leigh had made over 250 competitive appearances for semi-professional sides Farnborough Town, Fleet Town and Slough Town football clubs in his native England. In 2015 Leigh had a spell in New Zealand, winning the Lotto Federation league with Team Taranaki. More recently, Leigh has represented, and had league successes with local sides Lansing United and AFC Ann Arbor in the NPSL.

Leigh coached as Saline FC 7v7 Technical Director, MSYSA ODP Coach, Saline High School Men Varsity Assistant Coach, SCL Site Leader, Youth Elite Soccer, Challenger Sports and is currently the Saline High School Women's Varsity Soccer Coach.

Kevin Taylor
9v9 Technical Director, coach of 07 Boys Gold, 09 Boys Black, 10 Boys Black, 10 Boys Gold, and 10 Girls Black
Coach Kevin brings some significant creed to the field as a four year Florida ODP player, a four year starter at U of M, and a professional career that includes playing MLS for the Colorado Rapids. He’s the highest scoring defender in U of M history and the first U of M player to be drafted into MLS. He has coached at other local clubs including the Michigan Tigers and MPSA Crush. He currently holds a National C Coaching License.

Sebastian Lindner
7v7 Technical Director, coach of 11 Boys Black and 14 Boys Black
Sebastian grew up in Berlin, Germany and started playing soccer when he was 5 years old. During his youth, he played for SC Charlottenburg which is one of the biggest clubs in Berlin. Because of multiple injuries during his time as a player, he never made the move to one of the bigger clubs. Instead, Sebastian started coaching. He began his coaching career with one of the best coaches in Berlin. Sebastian has an E Level license as well as a Level A coaching certification through the German Soccer Association which is for coaching ages 7 to 12.

Victor Plasse
Coach of 13 Boys Black, 13 Boys Gold, 15 Boys Black, and 15 Boys Gold
Victor was born in Togo, but spent some years in Ghana growing up and playing soccer there through the academics. When he moved to Lyon, France to continue playing, he decided and chose to pursue his educational goals first. From Saline High, he now attends the Oakland University's graduate program and played there during his undergraduate. Victor is the Head Coach for all Milan Men's and Women's High School teams. He is an MSYSA - ODP Coach. Victor holds a National C Coaching License. He started working with Saline FC a few years ago starting with the REC and has since fallen in love with the organization, parents and the kids.

Haitham Gazal
Coach of 12 Boys Black and 12 Boys Gold
Haitham grew up in Dubai, UAE and started playing soccer at a young age. He played soccer through high school and moved to Toledo Ohio to pursue his college degree. There he played college soccer throughout his educational years. Currently Haitham still enjoys playing soccer, indoor, futsal and MUSL outdoor soccer. He started coaching Rec in 2012 and fell in love with coaching the game. Haitham currently holds a National C Coaching License. Prior to arriving at Saline FC, he coached select/premier teams at WWSL Arsenal.

Nick Marecle
Coach of 08 Girls Black, 08 Girls Gold, and 11 Girls Black
Nick was raised in Ypsilanti till the age of 4 and moved to Saline and has been living here since. He started playing soccer when he was 5 years old with Saline Area Soccer Association (currently Saline FC) being his organization to play through. He went on and played club soccer at WCC for a year and half. He coached in Milan for their recreational group and later a year and a half for their Travel program. Nick currently holds a National D Coaching License.

Austin Smalls-Valentine
Director of Goalkeeping, Coach of 12 Girls Black, 12 Girls Gold, 14 Girls Black, 14 Girls Gold, 15 Girls Black, and 15 Girls Gold
Austin will be starting his role of Director of Goalkeeping in June 2021, as well as coaching some teams. Austin previously spent a number of years coaching at Liverpool Ann Arbor. He is the current Goalkeeping Coach at UofM Dearborn and the Varsity Boys at Saline High
School. Coach Austin also serves as the Saline Varsity Girls Assistant Coach. He currently holds a National D Coaching License.

Conner Williams
Coach of 11 Boys Gold
and 14 Boys Gold
Connor grew up in Ann Arbor and began playing soccer at the age of 4. Conner started playing soccer for Ann Arbor Arsenal and then moved to play with the Saline Area Soccer Association (now Saline FC), ending his playing career with high-level Ann Arbor United and Saline High School teams. He took a few years away from soccer to nurture other passions while at Michigan State University, but has since began coaching the Freshman Boys squad at Saline High School while helping out with the boys and girls Varsity teams as well. Conner holds the Grassroots 11v11 in-person Coaching License.



Robert Smith
Coach of 07 Girls Black
Rob hails from and grew up playing soccer in Birmingham, England. In 2007 he and his family immigrated to the US where he attended Saline High School and graduated in 2014. During that time, Rob played for Saline FC and the boys Varsity soccer team. Rob attended Eastern Michigan University and graduated with a degree in business. Rob has coached for 02 Sports for Ann Arbor area schools, Saline FC rec in house league and assists for the Saline boys Freshman and Varsity teams. Rob works at NSF International as Business Development Manager and has his National E Coaching License in coaching soccer.
