The Mini Kickers, three and four year olds, meet on Saturday mornings from either session 1 from 9:00am-9:50am, session 2 from 10:00am-10:50am, or (if needed) session 3 from 11:00am-11:50am.

Volunteer head coaches receive a $50 refund once all coach requirements are completed. Required certificates must be finished before the first session to remain eligible for the refund.

Registration for the Fall 2026  season is now open. Late registration begins July 15th (fee applied). Players registering on or after August 15th, 2026 will be placed on a wait list. Players on the waitlist will not be charged any fees until your child is placed on a team. Saline FC desires to place every child wanting to play soccer. Spots fill quickly! Don't wait.

​Saline FC’s Mini Kickers program is a beloved first step into soccer for three‑ and four‑year‑olds. With an emphasis on motor‑skill development and body awareness, our volunteer coaches create a fun, upbeat atmosphere where young players can explore the game with confidence. Each session is filled with energy, encouragement, and activities that leave kids eager to come back.

The sessions involve a number of fun games and activities, finishing with small-sided scrimmages. The fun games and activities develop fundamental, soccer specific skills such as dribbling, passing and shooting.  The program has been very successful in sparking an interest in soccer. Many of our young players continue to play soccer in our recreational and travel programs.

A Fall and Spring season are offered outdoors on Saturday mornings at the Saline FC EAST Fields (1155 Campus Parkway, Saline). Our Fall season will begin on Saturday,  September 12th and will end Saturday, October 17th.   Mini Kickers do not have weeknight practices. If your player is currently a Young 5’s or Kindergartener, we recommend that you register for Saline FC’s U6 Coed Recreational League program. Ball will be provided, please wear shin guards, water, and cleats or gym shoes are needed. Dress in Layers!

Participants need to be age 3 on or before 8/1/2026 to register for the 2026 Fall season. 

Register early because this program fills up! The fee for Mini Kickers is only $85 for the entire spring season and includes a free jersey. Late fee begins 7/15.
