NEW! The Mini Kickers, 2021/2022-2/1/2023, has partnered with Soccer Shots for spring 2026. Mini-Kickers will meet on Saturday mornings from either session 1 from 9:00am-9:40am, session 2 from 9:50am-10:30am, and session 3 from 10:40-11:20am.

 

No volunteer coaches needed for Mini-Kickers/Soccer Shots (3-4 year-olds).

Registration for the Spring 2026  season is now open. Late registration begins January 15th (fee applied). Players registering on or after March 15th, 2026 will be placed on a wait list. Players on the waitlist will not be charged any fees until your child is placed on a team. Saline FC desires to place every child wanting to play soccer. Spots fill quickly! Don't wait.

The Saline FC Mini Kickers/Soccer Shots Program is a popular introductory soccer program for three and four year old children. Mini Kickers focuses on the development of basic motor skills and body mechanics.  Your child will have a fantastic time working with our coaches who will deliver fun, energetic and enthusiastic sessions leaving your child wanting to come back each week.

The sessions involve a number of fun games and activities, finishing with small-sided scrimmages. The fun games and activities develop fundamental, soccer specific skills such as dribbling, passing and shooting.  The program has been very successful in sparking an interest in soccer. Many of our young players continue to play soccer in our recreational and travel programs.

A Fall and Spring season are offered outdoors on Saturday mornings at the Saline FC Community Drive fields. Our Spring season will begin on Saturday,  April 18th  and will end Saturday, May 30th.   Mini Kickers do not have weeknight practices. If your player is currently a Young 5’s or Kindergartener, we recommend that you register for Saline FC’s U6 Coed Recreational League program. Ball will be provided, please wear shin guards, water, and cleats or gym shoes are needed. Dress in Layers!

Participants need to be age 3 on or before 2/1/2022 to register for the 2025 Spring season. 

Register early because this program fills up! The fee for Mini Kickers is only $85 for the entire spring season and includes a free jersey. Late fee begins 1/15.
