Leigh Rumbold
Leigh hails from Heatherside, England. He currently holds a USSF B level license and a FA Level 2 coaching license. Prior to arriving at Saline FC in 2013, Leigh had made over 250 competitive appearances for semi-professional sides Farnborough Town, Fleet Town and Slough Town football clubs in his native England. In 2015 Leigh had a spell in New Zealand, winning the Lotto Federation league with Team Taranaki. More recently, Leigh has represented, and had league successes with local sides Lansing United and AFC Ann Arbor in the NPSL. Kevin Taylor (KT)
Coach Kevin brings some significant creed to the field as a four year Florida ODP player, a four year starter at U of M, and a professional career that includes playing MLS for the Colorado Rapids. He’s the highest scoring defender in U of M history and the first U of M player to be drafted into MLS. He has coached at other local clubs including the Michigan Tigers and MPSA Crush. He currently holds a National C Coaching License.

Sebastian Lindner
Sebastian grew up in Berlin, Germany and started playing soccer when he was 5 years old. During his youth, he played for SC Charlottenburg which is one of the biggest clubs in Berlin. Because of multiple injuries during his time as a player, he never made the move to one of the bigger clubs. Instead, Sebastian started coaching. He began his coaching career with one of the best coaches in Berlin. Sebastian has an E Level license as well as a Level A coaching certification through the German Soccer Association which is for coaching ages 7 to 12.

Haitham Gazal
Haitham grew up in Dubai, UAE and started playing soccer at a young age. He played soccer through high school and moved to Toledo Ohio to pursue his college degree. There he played college soccer throughout his educational years. Currently Haitham still enjoys playing soccer, indoor, futsal and MUSL outdoor soccer. He started coaching Rec in 2012 and fell in love with coaching the game. Haitham currently holds a National C Coaching License. Prior to arriving at Saline FC, he coached select/premier teams at WWSL Arsenal.

Austin Smalls-Valentine
Austin will be starting his role of Director of Goalkeeping in June 2021, as well as coaching some teams. Austin previously spent a number of years coaching at Liverpool Ann Arbor. He is the current Goalkeeping Coach at UofM Dearborn and the Varsity Boys at Saline High School. Coach Austin also serves as the Saline Varsity Girls Assistant Coach. He currently holds a National D Coaching License.

Nick Marecle
Nick was raised in Ypsilanti till the age of 4 and moved to Saline and has been living here since. He started playing soccer when he was 5 years old with Saline Area Soccer Association (currently Saline FC) being his organization to play through. He went on and played club soccer at WCC for a year and half. He coached in Milan for their recreational group and later a year and a half for their Travel program. Nick currently holds a National D Coaching License.

Logan Kuhlman
Logan grew up in the small town of Swanton, Ohio just outside of Toledo. His playing career ended after high school while he was still able to enjoy playing in adult indoor and outdoor leagues while he attended the University of Toledo. He first started his coaching journey at Clay high school in his last years of college. He then moved into Michigan just outside of the Ann Arbor area where was granted the opportunity to continue coaching by Saline FC’s own Victor Plasse where he coached at Milan High School and followed Victor along to Plymouth High School where he is currently coaching with the girl's soccer program. Logan is excited to continue his coaching career as he is starting this year with Saline FC and in the women’s goalkeeping coach position at Concordia University.

Matt Twiss
Coach Matt grew up in Adrian after moving from California at a young age. Graduated and played at Lenawee Christian, before completing a double major in English and Spanish from Siena Heights. After that completed a Master's in Soccer Coaching through Ohio University and United Soccer Coaches. He also holds a USSF C, USC Goalkeeping Level 3, and multiple other USC special topics. He has previously coached at Siena Heights and Adrian College men's teams, ODP, and is the current girls varsity coach at Tecumseh High School. Matt has been coaching since 2012.

Phil Hayes
Coach Phil has previously worked with Cleary University, Dearborn Jags, DSC, Livonia City FC and Milan storm. Coach Phil is the current Head Varsity Boys and Girls Coach at Milan High School where he was named D3 Regional Coach of the Year and The United Soccer Coaches Black High School Soccer Coach of the Year. Coach Phil currently has his USSF national D license and aims to attain his C license next year.

Bartley Lydy II
Bartley J. Lydy II, riginally from Luna Pier, MI, Coach Bartley grew up playing club and high school soccer in Toledo. Coach Bartley holds the U.S. Soccer (USSF) “C” License and the Advanced National Diploma from the United Soccer Coaches. Serving as the Toledo District Head Coach for Ohio Soccer Association’s Olympic Development Program, currently in his 8th season as the Varsity Head Coach of Toledo Whitmer High School Boys and 1st season with Saline High School Girls as the Varsity Assistant Coach. Coach Bartley joins Saline FC from Pacesetter Soccer Club, ECNL Boys, ECNL-RL Girls coaching staff, and PreECNL Boys & Girls Director of Coaching. Outside of the beautiful game, Bartley earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Bowling Green State University.

Giorgi Nozade
Coach Giorgi was born in the Republic of Georgia and moved to the United States in 2010. Giorgi is the current head coach at Chelsea High School for the varsity girls and the men’s head coach at the University of Michigan Flint. Coach Giorgi currently has his USSF C license and UEFA B license.

Marly Duerst
Marley grew up in a soccer-loving family, playing since the age of four. She was raised in Saline and played for various local clubs as well as Saline High School. While attending the University of Michigan, she played 3 years on the Victor’s FC club team, winning tournament champs all three years. Marley then moved to Spain and later Mexico to teach English and was involved with local boys and girls soccer teams in both countries. In Madrid, she coached with Dragones de Lavapies and in Mexico with Tuzos and Guepardos of Tlaxcala. For various summers Marley has coached at both UM women’s and Saline FC summer soccer camps and is looking forward to coaching for the club she used to play for growing up.
