ABOUT Saline FC

Leigh hails from Heatherside, England. He currently holds a USSF B level license and a FA Level 2 coaching license. Prior to arriving at Saline FC in 2013, Leigh had made over 250 competitive appearances for semi-professional sides Farnborough Town, Fleet Town and Slough Town football clubs in his native England. In 2015 Leigh had a spell in New Zealand, winning the Lotto Federation league with Team Taranaki. More recently, Leigh has represented, and had league successes with local sides Lansing United and AFC Ann Arbor in the NPSL. Directly out of college, I opened a business that launched my 29-year stint in the corporate world. While I experienced many successes, I felt a strong desire to accomplish something more meaningful. Thus, my destiny led me to Saline FC. I am excited for what the future holds. My current Saline FC duties are directing initiatives, managing goals, accounting, financial planning and organizing events. I am the CEO of Honest Venture Coaching, LLC since 2013. I was the Financial Director for ARR Insurance Agency for 10 years. I was a business owner for 19 years where I managed all finances and led organizational development initiatives. I received my education at the Eastern Michigan University where I studied Business Management and Accounting. As a coach I completed the Core Essentials Program in 2013 and Advanced Corporate Coaching in 2016 through Coach U, Inc. I placed 3rd in the state for the Distributive Education Club of America. I am a soccer player for over 17 years, was a Team Manager for over 15 years and a Head Coach for 3 years.

As Club Administrator for Saline FC, I play a key role in supporting the growth, organization, and day-to-day operations of the club. I coordinate communication between coaches, players, and families, manage schedules and registrations, and help ensure everything runs smoothly both on and off the field. Having grown up in Saline, I’ve been around soccer for most of my life. I began my own travel soccer journey when the club was still known as SASA, which gives me a deep, long-standing connection to the program and its evolution over the years. The game has always been a big part of our community, and now it’s a big part of my family’s life as well. My two kids both started in the recreational program and have since progressed to playing travel for Saline FC, giving me a firsthand perspective on player development and the club experience at multiple levels. I’m passionate about creating a positive, structured environment where players can develop their skills, build confidence, and foster a lifelong love of the game. Through strong organization, clear communication, and community engagement, I’m proud to help support a club that continues to grow and develop athletes both on and off the field.
